N1  - The present study is about how information technology could help in imparting
knowledge to aspirants who are with a  non-science background. The project deals with the
compilation and development of an e-content to facilitate TEL based e-learning through a
platform that makes all of the learners and aspirants to access the information related to the
subject Zoology. Through this project a person is able to understand the related topics that is
desired in a simple and reliable way through a combination of media components and articles.
The project is developed to create a form of digitized library of the subject Zoology that contains
all relevant learning resource materials available in one source.
The project focused on creating a prototype of an e-content of Open Educational
Resources (OERs) relating to relevant topics in the form of media and articles. By using simple
web development languages like HTML 5, CSS, and Javascript an attempt is made to create a
qualitative and quantitative OER platform. The system aims in imparting knowledge not only to
Life Science aspirants but also to others who are interested in this subject
